Gaston County Library Accessibility Improvements
Client: Labella Associates
The existing handicap accessible parking spaces at the main branch of the Gaston County Library did not meet current code requirements. Robinson & Sawyer, Inc. provided site plans for the addition of 6 new accessible spaces as well as the replacement and addition of sidewalks near the main entrance to meet current accessibility standards.
Gaston College Veterinary Technology Facility
Client: Stewart Cooper Newell Architects
Robinson & Sawyer, Inc. provided site plans for the construction of a new education building on the campus of Gaston College. Site features included stormwater quality and detention basins as well as a drop-off loop driveway with handicap accessible parking spaces. New sewer and water services were also provided as part of the design.
Gaston County Animal Care & Enforcement
Client: Stewart Cooper Newell Architects
Robinson & Sawyer, Inc. worked closely with SCN Architects and Gaston County to provide site plans for the complete renovation of an existing building into a facility to be used as the new Animal Care Facility for Gaston County. The design included a 45-space parking lot with loading areas as needed for the functionality of the new use of the building as an animal care facility. New water and sewer services as well as stormwater quality and detention ponds were designed.
High Shoals City Hall

Robinson & Sawyer, Inc. provided site plans for a new City Hall for the city of High Shoals. The new facility was placed on the same site as the previous City Hall. The design of the new facility was coordinated so that operations at the existing City Hall could continue until the new facility was occupied.
Gaston County Police Station Parking and Drainage Improvements

The project involved pavement overlay of an existing parking lot, the addition of parking, landscaping, and the installation of drainage improvements.
